circCDK13 is upregulated in prostate cancer and mainly localizes in the cytoplasm. It promotes PCa cell proliferation (and its depletion increases apoptosis) by sponging miR-212-5p and miR-449a to relieve repression of E2F5, forming a CDK13/circCDK13/miR-212-5p/miR-449a/E2F5 positive feedback loop that enhances tumor growth in xenografts. |
