Description:

circFMN2 (hsa_circ_0005100), derived from FMN2, is up-regulated in prostate cancer tissues and cell lines and shows oncogenic effects. It promotes proliferation, migration/invasion and EMT and inhibits apoptosis, partly via a ceRNA mechanism that sponges miR-1238 to upregulate LHX2; it is also detectable in serum exosomes from PCa patients.
