circPTPRA is down-regulated in NSCLC tumors and acts as a tumor-suppressive circRNA. It mainly localizes in the cytoplasm and inhibits EMT, migration/invasion, and metastasis by sponging miR-96-5p, which relieves repression of RASSF8 and supports E-cadherin expression. Low circPTPRA level associates with metastasis and poorer patient survival. |
