Description:

Circ_0008717 is upregulated in RCC tissues and cell lines and functions as an oncogenic circRNA. It promotes proliferation, migration, invasion, glycolysis and in vivo tumor growth while inhibiting apoptosis, at least partly through the miR-217/FBXO17 regulatory axis. Clinically, higher circ_0008717 expression is associated with advanced TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and poorer survival.
