CircAMOTL1 is up-regulated in cervical cancer tissues and cell lines and promotes proliferation, migration/invasion, EMT, tumorigenicity and metastasis while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, it functions as a ceRNA by sponging miR-526b to increase SIK2 expression and enhance AKT signaling/EMT.
