Mechanistically, it binds p70S6K2 to increase GSK3beta Ser9 phosphorylation, stabilizing GLI1 and beta-catenin proteins to activate Hedgehog/GLI1 and Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, thereby inducing MYC-driven CYR61 transcription.
