Description:

circ_0005394 is up-regulated in HCC tissues and cell lines and acts as an oncogenic circRNA. It promotes proliferation/viability, migration and invasion and suppresses apoptosis by sponging miR-507 and miR-515-5p to de-repress E2F3 and CXCL6 (miR-507/E2F3 and miR-515-5p/CXCL6 axes). High circ_0005394 expression predicts poorer overall survival and is an independent prognostic factor in an 82-patient cohort.
