Description:

In H2O2-induced oxidative stress conditions, circ-SPECC1 is down-regulated in HCC cells but functions pro-tumorigenically. It promotes proliferation and suppresses apoptosis by sponging miR-33a, thereby relieving miR-33a-mediated repression of TGFbeta2 and modulating autophagy, and its knockdown reduces xenograft tumor growth.
