In NSCLC cells, circNOTCH1 is induced downstream of GPER via YAP1-TEAD-mediated transcriptional upregulation of the circRNA biogenesis factor QKI. circNOTCH1 promotes NSCLC cell growth and xenograft tumour growth by competing with NOTCH1 mRNA for METTL14 binding, thereby altering m6A-related regulation and increasing NOTCH1 mRNA stability and NOTCH1 protein expression. |
