Description:

circ-MAT2B is up-regulated in gastric cancer tissues and plasma and promotes GC cell proliferation and glycolysis. It functions mainly in the cytoplasm as a ceRNA that sponges miR-515-5p to increase HIF-1alpha, and HIF-1alpha transcriptionally activates circ-MAT2B to form a positive feedback loop. High circ-MAT2B is associated with aggressive clinicopathological features and poor survival, supporting diagnostic and prognostic value.
