High expression levels of circSKA3 were significantly correlated with the poor survival of GBM patients.

Description:

circSKA3 is up-regulated in glioblastoma and acts as an oncogenic circRNA by promoting GBM cell proliferation. Mechanistically, circSKA3 overexpression increases methylation of the miR-1 gene, leading to reduced miR-1 expression, and high circSKA3 expression is associated with poorer overall survival in GBM patients.
