Overexpressed circ-RPL15 predicts poor overall survival and is associated with larger tumor sizes, higher TNM stages and earlier distant metastasis in gastric cancer patients.

Description:

circ-RPL15 is up-regulated in gastric cancer tissues and cell lines, and high expression predicts poorer overall survival and more aggressive clinicopathological features. Functionally, circ-RPL15 promotes gastric cancer proliferation, migration, invasion and xenograft tumor growth while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, it acts as a ceRNA for miR-502-3p to regulate OLFM4 and activate the STAT3 pathway.
