Description:

circ-SIRT1 is up-regulated in colorectal cancer tissues and cell lines and correlates with deeper tumor invasion. Functionally, circ-SIRT1 promotes CRC cell proliferation, migration/invasion and EMT by binding EIF4A3 and reducing EIF4A3 recruitment to N-cadherin and vimentin mRNAs, thereby increasing EMT marker expression.
