This study found that circ_0000284/circHIPK3 is up-regulated in serum from acute pancreatitis patients and in caerulein-induced AR42J cells. Functional experiments indicate that circ_0000284 promotes AP-like cell injury, apoptosis, and inflammatory responses by sponging miR-10a-5p and modulating the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway. The authors propose circ_0000284 as a potential therapeutic target for acute pancreatitis. |
