circRNA-disease information
Expression pattern:
UP
Associated gene: CBLL1
Associated microRNA: miR-545-3p
Biological function: Promotes NSCLC malignant phenotypes and cisplatin (DDP) resistance (supports colony formation/cell cycle progression, metastasis; inhibits apoptosis/necrosis under DDP).
Molecular mechanism: Acts as a miRNA sponge for miR-545-3p to relieve repression of CBLL1.
Biological pathway or process:

apoptosis (inhibits); cell cycle (promotes); migration (promotes); invasion (promotes); metastasis (promotes); EMT (promotes); chemoresistance (promotes); ceRNA regulation (promotes)

Detected method:
Q
Validation methods:

RT-qPCR; RNase R Treatment; Clinical Sample Validation; Nuclear-Cytoplasmic Fractionation; Luciferase Reporter Assay; RIP (RNA Immunoprecipitation); Transfection; Colony Formation Assay; Cell Cycle Assay; Transwell Assay; Annexin V/PI Flow Cytometry; Western Blot; In Vivo Animal Model

Clinical significance:

-

Description:

circ_0072083 (circZFR) is up-regulated in NSCLC tissues/cells and mainly localized in the cytoplasm. It promotes malignant behaviors and cisplatin resistance by sponging miR-545-3p, thereby increasing CBLL1 expression; circ_0072083 depletion enhances DDP-induced growth inhibition and apoptosis in vitro and reduces xenograft tumor growth in vivo.

Confidence score:

0.7635
