Description:

circATRNL1 is down-regulated in OSCC tissues and cell lines and further decreases after irradiation. Forced upregulation of circATRNL1 sensitizes OSCC cells to irradiation by inhibiting proliferation/colony survival, promoting apoptosis, and inducing G2 arrest, mainly via a ceRNA mechanism (circATRNL1→miR-23a-3p→PTEN) that suppresses AKT signaling.
