Description:

CircGFPT1 is up-regulated in ESCC tissues and cell lines and high expression is associated with worse overall survival. Functionally, circGFPT1 promotes proliferation, migration, invasion and xenograft tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis. Mechanistically, it acts as a cytoplasmic ceRNA that sponges miR-142-5p to increase HAX1 expression.
