Description:

circ-METTL9 is a METTL9-derived circular RNA upregulated in colorectal cancer tissues and associated with advanced disease and shorter overall survival. Functionally, it promotes CRC proliferation, migration, invasion, tumor growth and metastasis. Mechanistically, circ-METTL9 acts as a miR-551b-5p sponge to increase CDK6 expression through the circ-METTL9/miR-551b-5p/CDK6 axis.
