BACH1, AGO2 |
| Associated microRNA: |
miR-145a-5p |
| Biological function: |
circZfp609 promotes OGD/R-induced astrocyte injury and MCAO-induced brain injury; circZfp609 knockdown promotes astrocyte proliferation, suppresses apoptosis and inflammation, and reduces cerebral infarct volume and neurological deficit scores. |
| Molecular mechanism: |
circZfp609 acts as a miR-145a-5p sponge to positively regulate BACH1, thereby promoting OGD/R-induced astrocyte injury and MCAO mice brain injury. |

| Description: |
In this study, circZfp609 was up-regulated in MCAO mouse brain tissue and OGD/R-induced mouse astrocytes. circZfp609 promoted cerebral infarction-related brain injury and astrocyte injury by sponging miR-145a-5p and up-regulating BACH1, while circZfp609 knockdown reduced infarct volume, neurological deficit scores, apoptosis, inflammation and LDH release and improved astrocyte proliferation/viability. |
