Description:

circMMP9 is up-regulated in HCC tissues and cell lines and its high expression is associated with poorer overall survival. Functionally, circMMP9 promotes proliferation, migration, invasion, cell-cycle progression and tumor growth, partly by sponging miR-149 to increase CCND2 expression (circMMP9/miR-149/CCND2 ceRNA axis).
