circITGA7 is a human ITGA7-derived circRNA that is significantly downregulated in colorectal cancer tissues and cell lines and is associated with CRC progression and diagnostic potential. Functionally, circITGA7 acts as a tumour suppressor, inhibiting CRC proliferation, migration, invasion, tumour growth and metastasis. Mechanistically, cytoplasmic circITGA7 binds miR-370-3p to upregulate NF1 and suppress Ras signaling, and also promotes ITGA7 transcription by suppressing RREB1 via the Ras pathway.
