Description:

ciRS-7 is up-regulated in ccRCC tissues and cell lines and promotes ccRCC cell proliferation and invasion. Mechanistically, ciRS-7 knockdown reduces p-EGFR and p-Akt, suggesting activation of the EGFR/Akt pathway. High ciRS-7 expression correlates with advanced clinicopathological features and shorter progression-free survival.
