Description:

circPHGDH is up-regulated in prostate cancer and promotes proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT, glycolysis, and in vivo tumor growth/metastasis. It functions as a ceRNA sponging miR-149 to upregulate RAP1B, which activates PI3K/AKT signaling. ESRP1 promotes circPHGDH biogenesis, and lactate-driven ESRP1 lactylation stabilizes ESRP1 to form a positive feedback loop.
