circRNA CCT3 (hsa_circ_0004680, from host gene CCT3) is up-regulated in bladder cancer patient samples and is associated with poor survival. Functionally, it promotes malignant behaviors of BCa cells and inhibits apoptosis. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-135a-5p to increase PP2A expression, forming a circRNA CCT3/miR-135a-5p/PP2A regulatory axis with diagnostic and prognostic relevance. |
