Description:

CircROBO1 is up-regulated in HCC tissues, HCC cells, and especially IR-resistant HCC tumor tissues. It promotes HCC radioresistance by acting as a miR-136-5p sponge to up-regulate RAD21, thereby enhancing proliferation and suppressing apoptosis; knockdown of circROBO1 improves radiosensitivity in vitro and in a Huh7 xenograft model. Clinically, high circROBO1 expression is associated with poorer overall survival and aggressive clinicopathologic features.
