circSOD2 is up-regulated in ccRCC and promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, invasion/migration, metastasis) while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, circSOD2 sponges miR-532-3p to relieve repression of PAX5, and PAX5 transcriptionally enhances circSOD2 biogenesis, forming a positive feedback loop and associated PI3K/AKT/mTOR activation. High circSOD2 expression correlates with advanced stage/grade and poorer OS/DFS. |
