Description:

circMAN1A2 is up-regulated in ESCC tissues and high expression is associated with poor overall survival. Functionally, circMAN1A2 promotes ESCC cell proliferation, migration and invasion, and its knockdown suppresses tumor growth in a xenograft model. Mechanistically, the study identifies CCL5 as a downstream target through which circMAN1A2 promotes ESCC progression, suggesting diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic potential.
