Description:

circWHSC1 is up-regulated in NSCLC tissues and cell lines and its high expression predicts poorer overall survival. Functionally, circWHSC1 promotes NSCLC proliferation, migration, invasion and xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, it acts as a ceRNA by sponging miR-590-5p to increase SOX5 expression, forming a circWHSC1/miR-590-5p/SOX5 oncogenic axis.
