| Clinical significance: |
High circ-UBR5 expression correlates with advanced tumor stages and significantly reduced 5-year survival in LUAD patients. |
| Description: |
circ-UBR5 is enriched in hypoxia-induced LUAD exosomes and is upregulated in LUAD tumor tissue. After exosomal transfer to recipient normoxic LUAD cells, circ-UBR5 localizes to the nucleus, binds and upregulates HNRNPR, and promotes proliferation, migration/invasion and metastatic phenotypes. High circ-UBR5 expression is associated with advanced stage and poorer overall survival. |
