circPVT1 is a super-enhancer-driven, PVT1-derived circRNA upregulated in HCC. It promotes HCC proliferation, invasion, tumour growth, and metastasis by binding YBX1 and recruiting it to the nucleus, thereby activating RRM2 transcription. High circPVT1 expression predicts worse OS and DFS and may represent a therapeutic target through inhibition of upstream super-enhancer signaling or downstream RRM2. |
