Description:

circTDRD3 is a hypoxia-induced, cytoplasmic circRNA upregulated in CRC tissues and cell lines. It promotes CRC proliferation, invasion and metastasis by sponging miR-1231 to increase HIF1alpha, while HIF1alpha and PTBP1 further enhance circTDRD3 biogenesis, forming a tumor-promoting positive feedback loop. High circTDRD3 expression is associated with unfavorable clinicopathological features and poor survival.
