Description:

circ_BBS9 (has_circ_0003162), derived from the BBS9 gene, is down-regulated in LUAD tissues and cell lines and acts as a tumor suppressor. Its overexpression inhibits LUAD cell proliferation and promotes ferroptosis, and it mechanistically binds IFIT3 and participates in a circ_BBS9/hsa-miR-7150/IFIT3 regulatory axis. Clinically, higher circ_BBS9 expression is associated with better survival and shows diagnostic potential by ROC analysis.
