Description:

circRELL1 (hsa_circ_0001400) is induced during herpesvirus infection and by interferon stimulation. In HSV-1 lytic infection, circRELL1 restricts production of infectious progeny, supported by siRNA knockdown and lentiviral overexpression experiments; it may act in part via interaction with TTI1 mRNA, though the mechanism is not fully defined.

Confidence score:

0.4062
