Description:

circFUT8 (hsa_circ_0003028), derived from FUT8, is down-regulated in bladder cancer and mainly localized in the cytoplasm. It suppresses migration, invasion and lymph node metastasis by acting as a ceRNA that sponges miR-570-3p, thereby increasing KLF10 and modulating the KLF10/Slug (EMT-related) program. Low circFUT8 expression is associated with lymph node metastasis, higher histological grade, and worse overall survival.
