It suppresses CRC proliferation, migration, invasion, and xenograft tumor growth by sponging miR-10b-5p and indirectly increasing P21/P53 expression. Clinically, low circ_0021977 expression is associated with lymph node metastasis, advanced TNM stage, poorer prognosis, and diagnostic potential in plasma.
