circRREB1 (hsa_circ_0001573), derived from RREB1, is up-regulated in breast cancer and predicts worse survival. Functionally, it promotes proliferation, migration/invasion, tumor growth and metastasis and suppresses apoptosis. Mechanistically, circRREB1 directly binds GNB4 and activates ERK1/2 signaling (increased p-Erk1/2 and c-Myc). |
