This study identified circHIPK3 as an up-regulated circRNA in ischemic brain tissues of tMCAO-induced stroke model mice. circHIPK3 promotes ischemic injury, BMEC apoptosis, and mitochondrial dysfunction by sponging miR-148b-3p, increasing CDK5R1/CDK5 signaling, and suppressing SIRT1. Knockdown of circHIPK3 alleviated cerebral I/R injury, supporting circHIPK3 as a potential therapeutic target for ischemic stroke. |
