Biological function: promotes MCL cell proliferation
Molecular mechanism: Bioinformatics-predicted circCDYL-miRNA-mRNA-lncRNA co-expression/ceRNA network
Biological pathway or process:

proliferation (promotes); apoptosis (inhibits); MAPK (other); other pathway/process (other)

Detected method:
Q
Validation methods:

RT-qPCR; Clinical Sample Validation; ROC Analysis; Survival Analysis; Transfection; CCK8; Bioinformatics Analysis

Clinical significance:

circCDYL had diagnostic value in distinguishing MCL patients from healthy controls (AUC = 0.856)

Description:

circCDYL is up-regulated in the plasma of mantle cell lymphoma patients and shows diagnostic potential (AUC 0.856). Functionally, circCDYL promotes proliferation of MCL Z138 cells, since circCDYL knockdown suppresses proliferation. The proposed mechanism is a bioinformatically predicted circCDYL-miRNA-mRNA/lncRNA regulatory network involving five highlighted miRNAs and targets including NOTCH1, ABCB1, TWIST1 and VEGFA.
