Description:

circ1811 is a human STAU2-derived circRNA that is down-regulated in gastric cancer tissues. It acts as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting proliferation, migration and invasion, promoting apoptosis, and reducing xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, circ1811 sponges miR-632 to relieve repression of DAPK1 mRNA, forming the circ1811/miR-632/DAPK1 axis, and its low expression is associated with lymphatic metastasis and potential diagnostic/therapeutic value.
