Description:

circRTN4IP1 is up-regulated in ICC tissues and cell lines and functions as an oncogenic circRNA. It promotes ICC cell proliferation, cell cycle progression, glycolytic glucose metabolism and xenograft tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis. Mechanistically, circRTN4IP1 sponges miR-541-5p to increase HIF1A expression, suggesting the circRTN4IP1/miR-541-5p/HIF1A axis as a potential therapeutic target in ICC.
