Exo from BM-MSC with upregulation of circ_6790 could be a potential therapy for PDAC.
This study identifies hsa_circ_0006790/circ_6790 as a BM-MSC-derived exosomal circRNA that is reduced in PDAC cells compared with normal pancreatic ductal cells but increased in PDAC cells after Exo treatment. Exosomal circ_6790 binds CBX7, promotes CBX7 nuclear translocation, increases DNMT-mediated methylation of the S100A11 promoter, represses S100A11 transcription, and thereby inhibits PDAC growth, metastasis and immune escape.
