Functionally, circUSP36 protects against ischemic injury by promoting astrocyte survival and inhibiting apoptosis through the miR-139-3p/SMAD3/Bcl2 axis, and its overexpression reduces infarct volume and neurological deficits in a tMCAO mouse model. |
