Description:

circ-ERBB2 is up-regulated in TNBC tissues and cells and high expression predicts poor overall survival. Functionally, circ-ERBB2 promotes glycolytic Warburg metabolism, proliferation, migration, invasion and tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis. Mechanistically, cytoplasmic circ-ERBB2 acts as a ceRNA sponge for miR-136-5p to increase PDK4 expression.
