Functionally, circSCAP aggravates ox-LDL-induced macrophage injury by promoting lipid deposition, inflammation, oxidative stress, and apoptosis-related changes. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-221-5p to increase PDE3B expression and regulate NF-kappaB signaling. |
