Description:

circVDAC3 (hsa_circ_0005927), derived from VDAC3, is down-regulated in gastric cancer tissues/cell lines and suppresses GC cell proliferation and metastasis in vitro and in xenograft models. It mainly localizes to the cytoplasm and functions as a ceRNA by sponging miR-592, thereby relieving miR-592-mediated repression of EIF4E3 to exert tumor-suppressive effects.
