Description:

Exosomal circRNA-100,338 is up-regulated in highly metastatic HCC cells and their exosomes and promotes HCC invasion and metastasis. After transfer to recipient HUVECs, it enhances endothelial proliferation, angiogenesis, permeability and VM formation, partly associated with altered VE-Cadherin/ZO-1 and increased MMP9, and it binds multiple proteins (including NOVA2). Serum exosomal circRNA-100,338 dynamics after hepatectomy are associated with pulmonary metastasis risk and poorer survival.
