Upregulated circ_BICD2 was closely related with tumor size, TNM stage and lymph node metastasis, and may serve as a potential therapeutic biomarker for OSCC clinical treatment.
circ_BICD2 is upregulated in OSCC tissues and cell lines and is associated with tumor size, TNM stage and lymph node metastasis. Functionally, circ_BICD2 promotes OSCC proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT-related phenotypes, tumor growth and aerobic glycolysis. Mechanistically, it acts as a ceRNA for miR-107 to enhance HK2 expression and the HK2-mediated Warburg effect.
