In mouse CRC syngeneic models (MC38/CT26), circPhlpp2 promotes tumor growth by shaping the immune microenvironment, decreasing NK-cell infiltration and NK-cell cytotoxic cytokines (granzyme B, IFN-gamma). circPhlpp2 knockdown improves response to anti-PD-1 treatment in vivo, and IL36gamma acts as a functional downstream mediator.
