Monitoring circSATB2 using the SERS-based biosensor is proposed as a promising method for cancer diagnosis and gene therapy. |
| Description: |
This study used circSATB2 as the target circRNA for a dual-signal SERS biosensor and showed that circSATB2 expression is higher in lung cancer cell lines H1650 and HCC827 than in normal lung epithelial BEAS-2B cells. The work supports circSATB2 as a detectable intracellular biomarker candidate for lung cancer using SERS imaging and RT-PCR, but it does not investigate a disease-driving regulatory mechanism. |
