circCSNK1G3 is a human circRNA derived from CSNK1G3 that is essential for proliferation of prostate cancer cell lines. It mainly localizes in the cytoplasm and promotes cell proliferation at least partly through interaction with miR-181b/d, affecting CBX7 and cell-cycle genes such as CDK1 and CDC25A.
